is a the 4pin power connector required on a socket939 mobo?

I just got the q-pack case and the winfast 761gxk8mb case, the q-pack PS does not the have the 12v ATX connector for the CPU only the regular 24pin ATX connector, will the computer run or in the 4pin required?

it will still run, 4pin makes it more stable, I have seen a few Mobos without it though

My motherboard flat out requires it, otherwise it won't boot up.

The PSU has the 24-pin connector but not the 4-pin 12V connector...? That is bizarre.

My mobo requires the connector.
