Is a R360 core required for Pro-XT bios flash?

I hear there are 128 mb XT bioses available. My friend has a R350 core but can successfully overclock to XT speeds.

overclocking to XT speeds does not and never has required an XT BIOS. Just a card capable of it.

yes u need an r360

also the xt bios flash improves performance over overclocking it to those speeds
