Is a Panaflo L1A fan enough to cool an Athlon XP 1800?

Ok before my hearing is damaged by the small jet turbine in my case, I need to get a new fan for my Thermalright SK-6. Is a Panaflo L1A fan enough to cool an Athlon XP 1800? I know I know these questions are all over but I couldn't find an exact answer.

Does anyone offer them w/3 pin connectors to allow rpm monitoring? If not, what's the best place to get them that includes 4 pin connectors? I don't feel like doing soldering.

Thanks.

case-mod.com has the 3 to 4 pin connectors for $.75 each, order 5+, get free shipping

L1A's do not have RPM monitoring. They typically come with a 2 pin connector that can be modified to plug into a motherboard fan header or a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter.

Yes it is, but, you may want a fan with a higher cfm than the Panaflo if you want to do any MAJOR overclocking.

I've asked the same question before and everyone seemed to agree that it would be enough if you aren't overclocking. I decided to go with a gc68 and a L1a for my xp1700+ since it was cheaper.
