Is a P4 3.2GHz with All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro enough for HDTV?

A buddy of mine wants to replace his TiVo, and start recording HDTV programming from his TV. He really likes the small Shuttle cases, so he wants to build a system that would record the programming to the hard drive inside the SFF case. My question is, if I stuff a 3.2GHz P4 (875P) into the SFF case along with a All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro card, will it be enough to record HDTV signal seamlessly without being choppy?

The AIW is an analog tuner card. It can't record HDTV at all.....so no.

Are there any cards out there that can? Price isn't really an issue for this guy.

My HD tuner card captures OTA HD very well, but if he's wanting to capture broadcasts from cable or Satellite Dish....nearly impossible.
AVSforums is a good forum for HDTV and HTPC issues.
