pretty sure Liberman's already unequivocally said that he won't run for VP ever again.

Hmmm, wouldn't it be a gas... if... We took the two popular votes... The one that wins becomes the president and the one that loses becomes the vice president? If it's power to the people should we also be VOTING FOR the vice president? :)

Is a mixed ticket "possible"? Yes.

But you honestly could not have picked two canidates who are more ideologically opposed to one-another than Paul and Obama... When you actually consider the issues (strange concept, I know), you'll find that the two are polar opposites in nearly every aspect.

So no, there is no chance on Earth that this would happen... or in Hell... or in any other dimension in the Universe!

In one sense this is not as hare-brained an idea as it initially appears. By selecting someone like Ron Paul as a running mate, Obama would have a Cheney-type shield. That's a pretty good disincentive to twart assassination attempts. Works for the Shrub.
