is a 25 ms lcd monitor good enough to...

Depends on the monitor. Some 25ms ones are great, some are terrible.

The only way to tell for sure is to see it or read a reliable review on it.

well, i looking for a monitor w/ tv tuner and component inputs. I can get one for ~600$ that is 25ms. WILL IT BE ACCEPTABLE? OR WILL IT BE HORRIBLE? (the ghosting)

it will be acceptable, you will probably notice ghosting- i think the dell 2001FP has component input and you can get that for around 600 bucks. its a 16ms monitor why not go with that?

I have my mini ps2 playing through Dscaler on TV wonder PRO on a samsung 213T. This is 25ms. When I play on my secondary Samsung 712N there is noticeable less ghosting. However, I like the colors from my syncmaster 213T better. So, I take a lil blur and play on the 213T. RPGs show the most especially on FMVs. For example, if there is an FMV that shows a character falling into a hole and there are closeup shots, you will see the blur between his/her falling body and the environment - especially if the environment is white, or bright colored.
