I know my neighbour is an early morning person like me but do you think it will be rude to play some No Use for a Name this early? :)

It's 9:00 AM Eastern :)

townhouses rock - i shared one with 2 roommates during college and we had families on both sides of our place. We had nights where we would be rockin the decks til 4-5 in the morning with a pretty rockin system conneted to the dj rig (all setup in the basement and moderately insulated) and over the course of 2 years never had a single noise complaint! -- yup - townhouses rock! lol:)

My downstairs neighbor woke me up again at 5:50 AM. He comes out on his patio, which is right underneath my bedroom window, chainsmokes, and caughs his lungs out very loud. So I talked to him, and he said "Caughing is just something that is natural."
Well, sleeping is something that is natural too. If he doesn't stop or die soon, It's going to be time for retaliatory action. Maybe some jumping jacks at 3 AM on top of his bedroom.

Noon is what I would have said as well.

Only 10 hours? Welcome to the real world.

That's what headphones are for. Get a good pair and you'll be just fine.

A bucket of cold water would be more effective.

Wtf?? No offence but it scares me that you even need to ask that question. 9am is way way way too early. I say noon is about right and even that is pushing it if its sunday.
