is 800Mhz memory future proof over 533?

So we know that if we're not OCing the highest memory we can use with intel conroe system is 533. All top shelf mobos are have in specs 800Mhz memory. So it's just information for OC maniacs and people who don't OC should even look at this info right? BUt my question is. Is it possible that in future there will be faster FSB in which you will be able to really use 800Mhz DDR2? Or till this time there will be DDR3 or whatever. So in one sentece is there any point of getting anything over 533 if you'r not going to OC? Or you can even without OCing have some speed improvement when using 800 memory over 533 for example?

NO. you can still run the memory at 800 . its only set at 533 as a base to get the best overclocks. just leave the memory on auto and you can still use it at its default speed.

but I read that fsb anyway can't go faster so memory will run not 1:1 and it's better to run 1:1 right?

i meant to say get 533 memory you be better off if you dont overclock or run the 800 memory at 2:3 for optimum speed. 6400 800 is cheap now anyhow so get that
