Is 60 Celcius / 140 Farenheit too hot???

For an old ppga Celeron 533 60C is SMOKIN Hot .

Get a better heatsink on there before they blow up, that's much too hot !!!

I had a friend running his XP1700 at 79 degrees celsius because he had a crappy heatsink with no thermal compound installed. Do you have any thermal compound installed?

Hehe, can I have an omlet please? 🙂

My Athlon 1.5 GHz (overclocked) never exceeded 58 C even when it was smokin' hot in the house last summer. And that's under full load (Prime95 + 3d rendering + 3d bench in background). Make sure there is good contact between the heatsink and the CPU, and use some thermal compound please.
