Is 57C under full load too hot for my Athlon XP 1700+ Tbred-B? *UPDATE - I dropped my CPU temp by 9C with a simple mod!*

I'd say your fine.

I was running my retail XP 2000 with retail heatsink at 67c at full load. Now I got a Volcano 7 and temp has gone down to 47c at full load.

My system was running fine at 67c but I didn't want to take any risk so I changed the retail heatsink.
