My T-bird runs at 52C under full load. At idel it's at 35C.
Is this too hot?

You should be. fine for a 1210mhz cpu it is a little hot. I have a 1100 and it runs a 45to48 under full load.

What voltage do you have it at 1210?

And what is your case ambient temp?

I.E. if you're at 1210/1.85V, your cpu dumps roughly 70W of waste heat into your case. If your case ambient temp is in the low 20s, and you're using a newer kt7 bios, then your temps are perfectly fine.

Of course, i'm sure someone will reply saying their duron/t-bird o/c runs at 30something C, but that isn't really possible with conventional air cooling.

According to the HW monitor reading, the case temp is around 28C. The voltage is at 1.825v in the bios, but 1.87v according to HWM.
Also, I just ran the cpu with the taisol heatsink(bigger one)+YS fan, there were random system reboot while playing the counter strike. The HS was much hotter than the Alpha when I touched it. Do you think the Artic Silver will help? Or should I get the FOP38? Of course having both will help a lot but if I have to choose, which one is better? A/S or FOP38?

Your temp should be fine, when I ran my P3 850 at 1054 at 1.85 volts, my temps would shoot up that high under full stress, and I even have a peltier. Look at your voltage when you are under full load, it should get closer to 1.825 or maybe even go beneath it. That's what my cpu does, under full load the voltage reading is actually .02 under what it normally is, and .03 higher when idle.

I still wonder how a peltier can keep a cpu below 0 when idle, but as soon as I run Prime95 the temps shoot up. I ran it at 1.95 volts for awhile, and the temps shot up to almost 70 C. But I was just fooling around then, my cpu runs stable at 1054 at 1.7 volts, and temps never go above 50 under full load.
