Talking about the speed at which one can transfer 256MB into the PC2100, remove it all, then transfer another 256MB.
and, in the same amount of time, be able to transfer 512MB into the PC133 at a slower speed but with no stopping, removing, and re-transfering the other 256.

I see why they were comparing them. And it seems logical if you don't know the specifics of how it all works. But, no, they're not equivalent. Apples and Oranges. :)

Thanks ffmcobalt but I need a more technical answer. Your answer seems to confuse me. Please clarify!

Why would it be equivilant? In situations where less memory is used, the 256 would be faster, in some situations that actually utilize 512MB it may be faster. Not equivilant at all though.

I would rather have the super duty. Is that the DDR memory or the 133? :D

Performance wise, NO. One will perform better then the other depending on the application.
