Is 500W enough?

Going off of Mfenn's recommended build:

i5 3570K + ASRock Z77 Extreme4 + Corsair DDR3 1600 8GB + Crucial DDR3 1600 8GB combo $323 AR
PowerColor 7970 3GB $360 AR
Samsung 840 120GB $100
WD Blue 1TB $65
Lite-ON DVD Burner $18 AP
Rosewill HIVE 650W $50 AR AP
NZXT Source 220 $50
Total: $966 AR AP

I see that it has a 650W PSU right now, but I just found a deal for a Corsair 500W Modular for around $35. Would that be enough to run this system? I do plan on overclocking CPU+GPU a tad.

Thank you,

This should be in the PSU subforum.

The deal on the CX500M is quite nice and would handle your system, but I'd like a bit higher grade unit for such a packed system, especially if overclocking. Your motherboard also supports SLI/Crossfire while the CX500 doesn't, so why not get a PSU to support it as well?

Here's a good one: Rosewill Capstone 650W $64 after promo. 80+ Gold, 5 year warranty, 4x PCIe connectors.
