Some interesting results. At least we've established that 3DMark2003 relies almost completely on Hardware DX9 support to run...almost at all! Thanks for the replies! :)

Worst part is that some will feel the need to upgrade because of it believing they won't be able to play the latest titles without the hardware support for DX9. How many games even use DX8 now that are worthwhile? NEways....

Rig in sig scored 1876 3DMarks. And why does this crappy program, new as it is, even try to detect what hardware and clockspeed I have if it is not going to get it right at all?

I ran it when it first came out with a 1600+ o/c @1.75 GHz and 9700 Pro, got about 4800 or so.

Edit: 1600+ not 1400+

yuckity yuck. i wonder what kinda movie they could make with Oedipus Rex and company and Elektra and company. *rubs chin thoughtfully*

thats pretty sick chubs.

i also have a question. i have a GF4 Ti4400 now, since it doesnt support DX9, will games that require DX9, e.g. Star Wars Galaxies (which is finally coming out next week) look really crappy?

Yet another useless mess of unrealistic numbers, from a benchmarking program that gets way to much notice for the good (or bad) it does.
