Ya, Ive been seeing reports on the networks. If you do a search then you'll find posts related to Windows crashes :
- On Installation
- On Startups
- On Updates
- Crashes Frequently
Following the reports, there has been quite a bit of talk about MS doing/need to be doing bug fixes for this version & it is one of the reasons why I am holding off as long as possible with my inevitable update to this version.

Windows version 25h2 crashes on startup after update
Users of Windows 11 version 25H2 have reported crashes on startup after a recent update. This issue is primarily affecting enterprise PCs and is known to cause problems with key operating system interface elements such as the Start menu, File Explorer, and taskbar. The crash is caused by a timing race condition where certain XAML packages fail to register in time after installing updates, leading to crashes in the ShellHost and ImmersiveShell components. Microsoft is working on a permanent fix, but no timeline has been announced yet. IT administrators can manually register missing packages using PowerShell commands or create a batch file wrapper for non-persistent environments.
