I have a 1800+ AGKGA and a 1600+ AROIA. To put it simply, the 1600+ smokes the 1800+ in max OC, 1917MHz @ 2.1vcore. I had trouble getting the 1800+ to 1800MHz. The performance is in the stepping. AGKGA is not a good stepping, as this was one of the first 1800+'s produced. Buy a good stepping if possible, whatever the MHz.

Unknown stepping, my 1600+ won't take more than a 33mhz overclock. Even at that (1700+ level, right?) I had a few more lockups and said screw it, put it back to stock. Noisy fan might have made it as stable, but 33mhz isn't worth the irritation to me.

Alpha 8045, Panaflo fan.

This CPU is cooled by a Thermalright AX-7 & YS-Tech 48.5cfm fan. Rather mild cooling.
