Is 128k up sufficient to host Unreal Tournament games?

I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on this. What's the ideal upload speed to host a UT server? Will my 128k upload be enough? I just want to host game for my friends every now and then. Thanks for your help.

I would say it depends on how many people, but I would think it would also only work if it's a dedicated server, meaning that you can't play on your computer while the game is going on.

Hopefully your friends also have broadband, other wise it's gonna get hella laggy.. It's been done with 128k b4. Just won't be the same as a t1.

it'd be fine for a every ocne in a while thing, you could probably get like 3 people on it max, though, for maximum gaming efficiency
