I don't want to see immigration "reform"; I want to see illegal aliens deported and employers punished as per the law of the land.

It won't happen because Democrats covet the Hispanic vote, and Republicans covet big business that benefits from illegal alien slave wage labor.
 
If you went after those that hired them and made it (the punishments) so bad they wouldn't hire them anymore, they'd leave or stop coming here.

Thats pretty much how I see it.
I finally accepted the fact they are coming in and no one is going to stop them, and they will be taking over in a generation or two.
I might piss and moan about it every so often, because theres no law saying I have to like it. But I learned to think more like "how do I deal with this knowing for certain it will happen" rather than "how do I fight this"?

Most of the people that pay illegals in cash are not paying any employer required ss,plus cash recipients are not paying SS either. Before any amnesty I want to see a tax return for every year of illegality with proof they paid for SS and income tax.

Are you arguing that we should effectively have no border? If you can't seal it and continually grant amnesty to those who make it here, giving even more incentive for the rest to follow, what is the point of spending ANY money trying to stop illegal immigration? Why don't we just open all of our borders to the entire world and let whoever can make it here stay?
