this is less technical than most of the run error stuff, but never the less, i can't seem to figure it out...
The headphone jack in the front of my computer will not work. I've got a SopranoRS and an AbitIP35Pro...now the audio cable (i'm assuming since it's the only one I could figure) ran into the bottom rear of the mobo under the FP-audio1 plug (it says audio and the plugs line up)...so i'm assuming that's right...what's more, it DID work the first day initially, so now i'm pretty confident it's the right one...however, the next day when I turned on my computer, it would not work...and it has not worked since then. it's not the headphones since I've tried 3 different pairs and they all work in the back where the jack in the mobo is, and it's not a loose wire because i've tried wiggling the connector on the mobo...
As i recall, the first day i used it vista had downloaded updates when i turned it off...HOWEVER I'M NOT SURE...so i don't want that to say that's the culprit.
The second thing is that I bought a floppy/card reader...the floppy works, but the card reader does not...this is more than likely because there is a plug i have not connected that says +vdc data- data+ gnd (I know that's the specific names of the wires) however I can't figure out where to plug this into my IP35Pro...there's nothing that seems to match up with that kind of plug...does anyone know how to connect something like this or where Abit put the connector on the mobo?
Thanks, those are the only 2 issues I have to correct for my build to be officially "complete."
Thanks,
John
