My box- xp_pro clean install-asus a7v133-amd 1gig mhz.640 meg ram-ati rage pro 32-maxtor 20 gig&maxtor 6.5 gig-No SCSI-3com nic-newest flash on bios ?
Keep getting crashes BSOD
irql_not_less_or_equal I see on google there are over 534 posts ! There is a big problem ! any ideas let me know ?

I've got a similar system myself, so might be able to help.

Slow down and take a bit more time to explain what the symptoms are, what's running on your system in the background, and what you are running when the BSODs occur...

What is "irql_not_less_or_equal"? <EDIT> Never mind...I asked Google, like I should have done first. 😱 </EDIT>

Also, you will get more responses if you edit your message to give it a better title (something more clear and understandable).

<EDIT> Did you try removing the NIC and any other unnecessary cards? </EDIT>
 
I was getting that - couldn't even get through XP setup without the same BSOD. I replaced my RAM stick and presto! everything worked like a charm. You don't mention your type/brand of memory. If you are using cheap generic RAM, shame on you! 🙂 Buy some good stuff and try again. NT/2000/XP are quite finicky with memory.
