hey guys i've been getting this error...it seems to occur when i'm running an application with audio..eg Winamp or say Mediaplayer

does this mean my PCI Audigy is running out of spec? I am running at 125FSB 3:4 divider 2ghz, ram settings are set to normal

have not tried with turbo 1, but i'm guessing maybe this will prevent these random BSDs?

Hen and others...

You should set turbo 1. It automatically keeps PCI and AGP locked at their appropriate speeds, regardless of your FSB.

Did you do a clean install on the system or upgrade from another? And are you running the latest Audigy drivers? Under what operating system? And do you get the same error with a 1:1 memory multiplier?

Lots of posts on this forums amount to "i have a problem...tell me what's wrong." Without details on what you've tried and tested, you might as well be asking for the meaning of life.

Crative has stated that their Audigy line of sound cards have an issue, specially running in Windows XP. The turbo setting should solve the problem, maybe you could try with 1:1 mem to make sure. There is an explanation of the various BSODs in Microsoft Knowledge base, don't know exactly the article, but you might find it heplfull too. I'm sure the IRQ NOLESS... is explained there.

yep latest audigy drivers, format hd and clean install of windows xp, i've gotten the other error when overclocking above 133FSB w/ 1:1
and under 133FSB w/ 3:4 and 1:1

i can't remember if the error ever occurred when running turbo 1 settings

thanks for the info guys i will check out the microsoft bsod database
