Irony, or is MAGA actually close to coming full circle.

I have seen this video shared on many MAGA supporter social media pages. It is fucking amazing to me that they don't realize what they're actually fucking looking at.

Sooooo fucking close to getting it.

I tell them this: This is end stage capitalism. What you are seeing there is the parked/invested/hoarded wealth of the multi-billionaire class. Reaganomics and the end of the tax code that prevented the hording of wealth and removed the economic encouragement of the wealthy to spend and pay higher wages created EXACTLY this. You're looking at the end stages of a game of Monopoly. A game created to warn us of what happens when you allow wealth to be hoarded rather than reinvested and spent.
The irony of MAGA is that the very period they think America was great was the era we had a 92% top tax bracket with massive deductions for spending. That prevented billionaires by telling mega earners they had to spend their money, or it would be taxed at 92%.
Now we have two choices. guillotines or a return to the 92% top tax bracket and the very economic policies that made America great in the 50s and 60s.

Let me know if there is a better way to explain it.

Yeah. I watched that video with a quizzical look on my face before he kind of got to the point at the end to which I was thinking to myself 'yeah.. duh, that's why you tax them or regulate them'.

Full circle indeed. I guess we gotta relearn this lesson every century or so.

LOL, MAGA doesn’t realize it, but if everyone else in the country looked like them and voted like them, they’d absolutely topple the elites, tax them to death and build a Christo-fascist/communist utopia.

Unfortunately, if they did that now, they’d have to share the wealth with “others”, so they need to “cleanse” the country first while riding along with end stage capitalism.

So close. Yet so far away lol. The final visualization should have been a comparison of the white, grey, and black areas. What's the percentage of each? Either the guy didn't think to actual finish his line of thinking, or purposefully left it out.

Damn… Maybe they’re ripe for a little Citizens United injection? Should one insert oneself? Always feel so dirty afterwards though.

It's always funny when it takes conservatives about 40 years to get upset by things liberals had been warning them about the entire time. Meanwhile any liberal who pointed any of this out got labeled a godless Communist who hates America.

But hey, it's been 40 years, so some of the dumb pieces of shit are waking up to the notion that big daddy Jesus and his Invisible Hand of the Free Market doesn't care about them.

Of course, because conservatives inherently lean fascist, their plan is to get their preferred Strongman in office who will smite these corporations...by making those corporations give their preferred Strongman lots and lots of free products and money.

But hey, now there are a few conservatives who know the secrets of the "Deep State" and they're not afraid to tell the liberals who have been warning them about it for their entire political lives.

Conservatives truly are the biggest victims. You don't have to take my word for it, just ask one.

What I love about the graphics he's showing is it LOOKS just like a game board. And just like Monopoly, the .1% winner(s) hold ALL the properties while all the losers hold little or none.

More irony: The vast majority of the white square is millionaires. Very little of that square is middle class ownership.

Yup, that would be a perfect conclusion to the video. "Yeah retail investors - people - own X%. Now, who is that X%? Oh well 90% of that white block is owned by multimillionaires. So you, average Joe, own fuck all once we break it all down".

Would it not be a fair assessment that if these people were firmly socketed in the conservative media framework they'd never have this "original thought" to begin with?

It's only cause Trumpism actually broke off a piece of the conservative block and they're now trying to navigate a reality where they dont trust any media at all. Add to that that Trump dgaf in terms of direction and ideology as long as the grift keeps running. - So they're sort of on their own.

I think this guy deserves some credit. He is thinking.

Well, they're all too busy buying scratchers and cartons of cigs down at the 7-11 ...

I was referring to his just "discovering" that huge investment firms own large chunks of everything, including each other. I bet his next video will be a discovery that most of the atmosphere is nitrogen.
Not even sure that they own those shares. I believe it's what they are holding on behalf of their investors. Like if you buy VOO, Vanguard has the stocks that make up that ETF.

Are you gonna try to explain that to that chuckle-head in the video?

What's wrong with being called a communist and hating America?
