Looking for a set of adjustable compact weights. Anyone have any experience with both of these?

The Ironmasters look really sturdy, I like that. Built to last.

The SelectTech set looks maybe a little easier to use and change weights.

I'm leaning towards the Ironmaster due to the look of longevity in them.

Also, any suggestions for someone looking for a treadmill? Looking for a cheap, but good one to pickup. I think between the treadmill and dumbbells I can do everything I would in a gym. I used to workout 4 days a week for 7 years, and just want to get back into it in a sustainable way at home now that I work a lot more.

Neither. Get Powerblocks.

Treadmills, you usually get what you pay for.

The Bowflex and Powerblock dumbbells are fragile and can be permanently damaged from a relatively minor drop. Spending 5-10 seconds to change the weight on the dumbbell really isn't a big deal.

Definitely check out Craigslist for the treadmill.

I already had ruled out the Selecttech, and was between the Powerblock and Ironmaster.

I think I'm going with the Ironmaster due to their apparant sturdiness. They look like they'll last me a long time. And they come with a stand. http://www.amazon.com/Ironmaster-Qui...3373677&sr=8-1

I found a NordicTrack Commercial 1500 treadmill on craigslist for $500. I think this looks like a pretty good deal, any opinions on treadmills?

Also happy to hear about Powerblocks, and a ton of people seem to like them.. but I think I'll be just as happy with the Ironmasters.
