when should i iron with the steam feature on?

for example do i iron cotton clothing with steam or without?

err, read the label first and make sure you can iron it with steam. if i can, i use steam only when the shirts are really wrinkled.

I use steam when the wrinkles don't come out without it. For an occassional tough one I use spray and make steam that way. It all depends on just how easy it is to get out the wrinkles, in my opinion. Steam makes ones that don't seem to want to go away easier to remove.

You will find taking it to the cleeners will save you iron burns, fustration, and always tripping over the ironing board in the evening you did'nt have time to put away that rushed moring.

Shirts are typically $1-1.50 at most places and a whole suit is around $5.

Even cheaper and easier is to pull your cloths one at a time, keeping the rest spinning, from the dryer and hang them or fold them nicely. Done right, I don't need to iron.

I wish I was in a university enniroment again. I wore wrinkled clothes, Usually from the floor, and berkingstocks sp. all day long. I don't tink I ever had a pair of laced shoes during my tenure as a student. I'm a monkey now, well trained.

Throw a moist towel in the dryer then spin it up again... it'll get the wrinkles out of the clothes you've left in there.

Or buy the Bounce wrinkle remover... you just hang the thing and spray, then tug on them straight. Works ok i guess, but i prefer ironing.

Heh... I don't iron my clothes either... Eventually I'll be a productive member of society and will have to get an iron and an ironing board. Either that or make a weekly trip to the cleaners.
