Iron Man Blogging Competition

Hey, so starting April 1st, we'll be doing this contest to see who can blog the most consecutive days. This is actually the fourth year we've done this. It's fun and the winner gets bragging rights. It's free; no ads, no iPod schemes. There are some rules, but they're pretty basic.

BTW, we also need topics for the competition's "Topic of the Day" (which grants participants an extra 25 points if they write about it), so if you have a question or issue you'd like to see people blog about go ahead and email it here.

IIRC 126 day last year. Damn impressive, I wouldnt make it past 2 weeks...

Wow, right on! And I think it was ~43 days in '06 and 11 in '05 (approximate).

I looked at the rules and it's illegal if you get caught but if you stagger the posting times I doubt you'd be caught.

Yeah, you're not supposed to compose your entries more than a day before posting them. And anyone could cheat, but it seems a little silly.

It's not really meant to promote blogs. It's just a fun group activity for people that want to motivate themselves to write regularly.
