I got 4 free tickets to this show at Columbus, Polaris Ampetheatre tommorow. Should I go?

I don't really like 80's hair bands.... but it's free....

Anyone want the tickets and live in Columbus? I will give'em to ya....

And I will be going to the show in Houston in a couple of weeks. I can't wait!

Well, I am, but I am big Iron Maiden fan, which started in the very early 80s. They turned me from a pop 40 kid to a heavy metal punk. Neither of the bands are the nu-metal types, but they all have albums that span 3 decades, they are just not considered hip enough or young enough to play to the 16-25 year old crowd. If you go, you can rest assured you will see a lot of mid 30 to 50 year old guys reliving their teenage years. Oh and some out of shape women of the same age trying to fit into that tight short/tube top combo they had back in their teen years. It won't be the young crowd you would see at a Tool, Staind or Creed concert.

I worked for a bank, and one of my superiors came up to me one day and said "Do you like concerts?" and I said "Yeah".

So he proceeds to hand me a STACK of tickets to the Iron Maiden - WASP - Dio show at a local ampitheater. I nearly fell out laughing.

I handed them out to a bunch of people and wound up going with two friends of mine. My one friend got completely drunk and was yelling "BRUCE DICKENSON SUCKS MY COCK!" at the top of his lungs while Maiden was playing.

Good times. 😀

Hahahaha! The security dude at work that has them said that I was the fourth person (out of a multi-thousand employee company) to come ask for them. It is normally 2 per person, but he asked how many I wanted... so I said 4. I looked on the table and there was a STACK of them... hahaha.

 
I got free tix to this show in detroit a couple days ago... and honestly... this show was awesome...

Me and 3 friends got all hammered and expected it to be all like total white trash there, but as it turns out the crowd was suprisingly pretty cool. I've never been a remote fan of either of the 3 bands, but I've never minded listening to their music (my guitarist is obviously a fan of this stuff). But seriously, every band on here rocked out...

btw, Dio looks hilarious.... what is that guy? like 5'6"?? 😀

Motorhead would frikken rock. Iron Maiden would be pretty cool to see too. I'm not a big Dio fan.

I'm not in columbus, but if I didn't have a stupid wedding to go to tomorrow night I'd drive down and go, I bet it'll be a good show.

Dude I seen Iron Maiden 4 Times and they rocked....Dio is also very good go get "Rainbow in the dark" and Motorhead absolutely kicks ass in concert...

What's pissing me off is that I spent $70 on two tickets for the Houston show and you guys are getting free tics. Man, I feel like a tool, but it should be worth it.
