I have 7 episodes on my replaytv. I'm trying to get my stupid catpure card working so I can record em!

every episode is good. except the 2nd bobby flay vs morimoto match which was absolute crap. Flays a moron and a real embarassment to the us. (not his cooking which is very interesting. his personality and everything...)

US version of iron chef? any links? who are the iron chefs going to be? (please not flay!)Sounds like a dud because the whole appeal of iron chef to americans is the quirks of watching foreign TV.

I meant Iron Chef in Japan has been cancelled. The Japanese ones we are seeing are as much as a few years old already. Iron Chef in Japan just got cancelled this past season I believe.

Anyways, I'm not sure what is going on with the US Iron Chef. All I know about it is that Shatner was on Conan O'Brien a while back and said he already was filming episodes of Iron Chef.

I aggree that the 2nd Flay match was rigged. Flay doesn't have the kind of talent the Morimoto has.

I love Iron Chef. The best shows are the ones with live ingredients. Octopi/Squid seem to live quite some time without their heads. The cruelest thing I've seen was a turtle match where they dipped the live turtle in a boiling wok of something, poor thing looked like it passed out/died immediately from pain. I would love to taste some of that grub.

Why should we be the end all of entertainment. Other countries can make good shows too and we will want to watch them. Crouching tiger hidden dragon was a great movie, does that mean america's movie business is in the can?

I wish iron chef was on tonight...I guess I'll just go buy some eel and play iron chef myself

 

Iron chef rocks, its about the only thing, save futurama and the simpsons, I will watch on TV.
