ive seen them use pure bred choclate labs, 2k per paw, that was the best show, pretty freaky when they put some live puppies in the pressure cooker and some in a saltpack that went into the oven. >>

i love this show! its awesome
their translations r funny sometimes. and i love how they make those fake laughs sometimes for the people on the show

Iron Chef is cool as hell.. - Some of the things, though, gross me out - but I'd still try them.

Sqisan?!?!?! Its fukui-san hey's saying damnit! 🙂 Its the kitchen reporter Shinichiro Ota, talking to one of the announcers, Kenji Fukui. The other announcer is Yukio Hattori, but I don't ever recall hearing Hattori-san called out 😉

Ya, and the worst part is that he LOST!!! If he had served some of the lobster with the asparagus, he would have won.



As for expensive ingredients, buy the Iron Chef book, and be amazed!
