Iron Chef America is on, Betali vs. Trevino

Rachel Ray and that hot Everyday Italian chick should be on there. (being naked should earn points for presentation too)

Rachel Ray is definitely among the most attractive media women in my eyes...

The Iron Chef America that I'm looking forward to will be when Ming Tsai comes out.

i thought trevino's stuff look better. and betali wimped out and didn't do a dessert. he should have been penalized for that.

Alton has said while he enjoys the show, he couldn't keep up with the pace of the show. He's an awesome cook but it's an insane pace to keep up with. I can hardly make a cake in an hour.

On a semi-related note, I got both of his books finally, they're awesome. I'm Just Here For More Food has some killer recipes in it, I made his fudge cake for New Years, my sister who doesn't like chocolate cake, asked me for the recipe.

Obviously this is crap. The original, on the other hand, was actually very entertaining.

I wonder why they are having Flay go again next week, rather than setting up something for Morimoto.

I do like their picks to be the Iron Chefs. They are all entertaining. Alton Brown is an awesome commentator. It's got to be almost impossible to stump that guy.

If you like bland, italian food with little or no seasoning, You will enjoy Batali. Batali has a restaurant in NYC that is also very popular, but the food is nothing more than overpriced bland food. I've ate there and was majorly disappointed.

If there is 1 chef who is pretty good, it is Bobby flay. Check out Bolo or MEsa grill and you will find a menu that is very well defined and food that is not ridiculously overpriced like Batali.

I still don't really like Ming Tsai as a chef...his attempts at Chinese cuisine are rather pathetic. The other week, we had some white guy who loved Mexican cooking that he lived in the region, spoke the language, etc., which was great. Ming doesn't even speak Chinese...he can cook French, neo-whatever all he wants, but I just can't stand him cooking Chinese food.

Just curioous, How many of you guys have ate At Batali's restaurant or any other famous-chef's restaurant?

But don't you want to see Betali make variations of Italian dishs with the secret recipes?
And let's not forget Flay's lack of originality and making gourmet Taco Bell every single time..... how the hell did he beat Morimoto with those tamalis? :|

Mesa Grill is quite good but overpriced in my opinion. My fiancee and I spent over $100 there and didn't even order alcohol.

The Everyday Italian girl would be hotter if she didn't have such a disproportionately large head. 😛

I believe Ming Tsai can speak Chinese.

but yes, his training is mostly french.

Still from the previews of the next episode, his duck looked pretty authentic.

I've eaten at the Frontera Grill a couple of time. The guy that lost to Flay last week ownes that place, plus another restraunt. Tempolo....something. It is actually very good, but when I get to Chicago, we're usually hitting up Gino's or Edwardos.
