This is like the 3rd time i'm seeing the Porcini battle with Marco Molinari.

geeze....they play the Overtime battle(konnyaku) before the actual battle(pork belly)?? I think they shouldve switched these around even though the votes said to do it one way...

I've seen 6 straight episodes so far (with one to go). The Bobby Flay match was cool (too bad he got spanked). The Mishima beef ep was by far the best (and most appetizing).

Well I would've enjoyed the battles a lot more if they didn't show those same annoying commercials for Molto Mario and the Naked Chef :disgust:

What Happenned to Chairman Kaga? i saw one episode where he was missing and they had that Announcer take over his duties.....

The iron chefs lost 6 of 9 matches at that point, and Kaga was 'upset' ... he set up a match where one iron chef defended the honor, i think it was IC Chinese, Chen, and the other chefs were in the royal box. If Chen won, then the iron chefs were redemed... if not.. well... it didn't happen so we dont know what Kaga woulda done.

God... i know the 'storyline' is fiction... but it's so addictive.

I was on the chat boards for foodtv during the New York battle and the Lobster battle w/ Seigel. The people were being really brutal in regards to Bobby Flay.

I almost died laughing when someone typed:

"Tommy smells like Natto"


You had to watch the NY battle to know who Tommy is....
