Food network is doing 24 hours of Iron Chef starting at midnight... just under 45 minutes... damn.. looks like i aint getting any sleep tonight.

 
That show is the sh!t!!! Too bad Pittsburgh doesn't have it.. oh well, not time to watch it during school anyway...

I'm at a little 'gathering' at my friends apartment in NYC. Since I don't drink... I'm keeping myself occupied. Man they are making mad noise, the apartments on both sides, AND the apartment below us have been knocking on the walls and floors... I'm surprised the security guard from downstairs hasn't been up here yet... part of this sucks... I didn't even drink and here I am, cleaning up most of the crap! How are you this fine New Years day???

Emiril is not bad, does anyone remember Yan Can Cook? Haven't watched it in a while... is it still on?
 
Yeah I tend to notice trends in people's postings, I used to hang out in only HD but lately OT has been pretty fun.

Actually there's still another 1 hour to go here on the West side for NY to arrive.
 
great show... though I guess I'm too plain a person.. some of those gormet dishes look kinda.. well.. gross to me 🙂
 
GODDAMNIT... someone just threw up all over the bed and floor... FUC!!! DAMNIT... if you can't hold it in don't drink... sh!t it wreaks in here... now I can't even breathe through my nose... ughhh. And some other drunk dude is still sleeping in the bed right now. This is disgusting... and now they sound like they having a ball in the bathroom... don't they understand what she just did??? Drunk people make no sense to me... I sure hope they don't expect me to clean that crap up too...
 
Some of those dishes are downright inedible. In an interview, I believe in People Magazine, one of the Iron Chefs commented that not everything works and some just fail outright. Also, they tend to oversalt the dishes like the stress of competing dulls their sense of taste. I though that admission was interesting.

I do. I loved that show. That guy was so funny. Iron chef is good. I'm gonna have to put it on after Sportscenter. I haven't seen Emirill yet, but he's real popular around here. He grew up less then 20 miles from my house, and since there's almost nobody famous from around here. He's a big deal. My mom is always talking about him. I'm annoyed with the guy, and I don't even know what his show is like. I'm sick of hearing his name, and seeing his sauces in the supermarket. 🙂

As for your drunk friends. Don't clean up after em. Feed em more booze, make a big ole mess yourself, then wake em up real early (and LOUDLY), and tell em they did a bunch of BS they didn't even do and make em clean it all up while they're hanging. Be sure to act all cheerful, and drive em nuts. Walk around and whistle like it's the best morning in the world. That'll get em back, believe me. 😉
 
Guess who just got done doing a laundry run?!?!? That's right... I didn't drink and I'm washing the nasty puke filled laundry... and another guy who didn't drink.. he's mopping the floor right now...

Nah... see, one of my friends lent us his apartment... and I can't do that, cuz he's not even here... he doesn't deserve that. And I know them drunk bastards are not gonna do anything... tomorrow... cuz they are still drifting in and out of sleep and joking about what happened. Of course they didn't have to clean anything up at all...
 
I wouldn't do it myself either, but it's fun to dream about it. 🙂

Well... I'm outta this joint... I spoke to a friend who wasn't here celebrating with us... he offered to drive down here and give me a ride home. Nice guy huh? Driving 30-45 minutes each way in the horrible conditions to give me a ride outta this joint... I'm gonna leave it up to the rest of the people to clean up... all of them sobering up now I guess. Well none of them were really drunk in the first place... just a select few throwing up...

Freaking quit hanging out in these 'parties' back in my sophomore year in highschool. Don't know why I'm back right now... waste of my time... should have stayed home and celebrated with my family...
 
That's why I just stayed home tonight. I was too tired to deal with all the BS that is "amateur night". 🙂

LOL.. Febreeze is a college kids savior!!! Well I never personally used it, but some of the skanky people I know back at CMU, they don't have time to do laundry sometimes (... ugh...) so they just spray Febreeze on that stuff.... ewww... and rewear.

They should just make a cable channel called ICTV or IRON CHEF television. They could play non-stop episodes of Iron Chef 😛
