There ok. I had one but brought it back because I didn't think it did that well with our seven cats. It did pretty well but it didn't seem to get all the litter in my opinion. Most of it though.

I love Bed and Bath!

Lifetime return policy!

Only returned it after 2 months about though.

7 CATS???!!! :Q

NOTHING will work good against seven cats. I hate cleaning houses that have ANY cats, much less seven, OMGBBQ

I sure hope you clean your filter in your HVAC out every week. You must have pet dander like crazy.

Only good on hard floors and so so on carpet. Never going to pick up the dust, sand or dirt inside that carpet!
Even then, it still misses ALOT! If you think this thing will pick up sand, good luck ;)
I don't have one but my neighbor does and I checked it out. It picks up lint, hair and stuff. Don't expect much if you live in an area with alot of sand!

As for a vacuum, this thing does "NOT" suck! (means it's crap)

My bro has it for his house. It works, and it's fun watching it do its job. My bro has hardwood floor and tile in the kitcken.

It's quite sad that a lower case I before a company and/or product name has become such a strong selling point for products :(

In my opinion the $1500 to $1799 automate vaccums are more worth it because they have a lot more sucking power to pick up just like a normal vaccum and some of them empty the dirt automatally for you.

i posted this awhile ago.

end of story goes like this:

i called irobot support and they are replacing the unit under warranty free. they don't send refurbished units -- you get to keep the original unit (you can use the parts which is a huge plus).

anyhow, it's actually good. they do a thorough job as indicated in my OP and they spot clean heavy crumb areas pretty well. my apartment is mostly wooden floors so it did a good job there, but it did an even better job in my bedroom with carpeting and got a lot of stuff that my regular dust-buster neglected.

Interesting. Sounds like good customer support indeed but I hate having to replace the filters. It gets expensive.

Plus cleaning the Roomba is a handful compared to the $1500 to $1799 automate vaccums plus they have a lot more sucking power!

I wonder if its possible to have two or more roomba at one time running?

The only thing I hate is you can't program the roomba to run at a set time.

The bad thing about roomba is it gets caught on phone wires, etc. So it will pull them with or just stop.
