I don't exactly understand how Amazon and others manage to sell this for at least $20 over the listed price at iRiver's official site (follow the 'eShop' link). Even sketchy pricewatch vendors list at $175. Perhaps $150 is the new MSRP.

Shipping is between $6-$8 UPS ground. $12 Sales tax in CA.

iriver must have just lowered thier price. I was fast enough to cancel my Amazon order and with the differance get 2nd day shipping! (Shipping was free with Amazon remember and ergo was not to go out for TEN days!)

Something like this without retailer's approval could make them VERY unpopular with retailers, even online ones such as amazon, so I doubt that Amazon's price will stay the same. Then again, my marketing prof could be full of hot air

Mje, i asked amazon to refunded me the difference when i found that the price dropped, amazon did it.

I ordered on the 13th, delivery estimate was July 18 - 24, it was delivered on the 17th. Still waiting for a response from Amazon on price adjustment.
