for those of you that got them for 219, was it marked that price, or did it ring up that way?

I got mine for $214.99. I went into my local BB and they had it for $266. I told them that a friend had got it for $215 at another store. They looked up the computer and said that other stores were selling it at $215 but they couldn't PM because the other stores were "in a different market" (nearest store was 2 hours away). So I went to another BB who also had it for $266 but they PM'd the $215 price no problem.

The video playing ability is great, but video needs to be encoded to pretty exact specifications: Xvid, 220x176, 10fps, low bitrate, and audio 128kbs CBR 16-bit 44.1Khz. Fortunately there's a little app called PocketDivXEncoder wich can spit this out with minimum fuss. I've just encoded the whole of Matrix 3 in under 200MB!

I picked one up yesterday at 215.99, don;t know why I thought I needed another MP3 player since I ordered a Shuffle last week, also I have a Zen Micro about 1 month old, oh well that is the effect of these forums I guess, and why i am usually broke. Huntsville AL, Worst Buy had 3 of them left for $266 on clearance, I used a scan of a receipt that showed them at $216 at another BB and had no probelms getting a match.

Word of advice, sell the shuffle, keep the Zen Micro when you want something small, use the iriver otherwise.

Well I haven't gotten it yet, ordered it the day of the announcement, now they are backordered all over the place, actually I need a new thumbdrive and it will do for that. With the MP3 player as a bonus.

I bought mine up in Alpharetta, GA for $266 on clearance but later on found out that another store in GA had the H320 for $215. Told my friend about it and he want and got the difference given back to him. I shall be doing the same thing.

I also flashed the newest firmware 1.25K on my H320 and can now view movies on it. SO SWEET!!! Hands down one of coolest players I have ever owned. Plus, my display remote for my SlimX 550 works on the H320, therefore I can just stick the H320 in my pocket and control everythign through the remote display.

If you want an awesome alternative to ifreakinpod, then get one of these....or you can wait for the H340, 40gig insted of 20gig HD.

10fps??? This would look like a slideshow instead of the movie then? What's good about that?

trust me....10fps might sound bad but I watched House on Flying Daggers on it and it looks fine to me. What do you expect from a 2 inch screen? Theatre or DVD quality? From watching all the videos I just put on my H320, I think it's pretty darn good. Better than buying one of those PMPs. For anyone that's interested, go here for directions on what to do to encode the videos (courtesy of andrewmel from another forum)

Funny, I would have said exactly that twp weeks ago... before I got my H320. Movies on this thing are great, believe me. I encoded The Matrix 3 and it came out at under 200MB. I then watched and enjoyed the whole movie. It really is much better than you might imagine.
