Ok, I am not going to talk about the situation with nick assimilation, because its not my place, but I just want to let it be known that it is a very immature thing to do.
On a happier note, I am going to propose the idea of moving the channel to Efnet. The only reason I haven't proposed this sooner is because EFnet does not have a service like X, also, I don't believe you can register a chanel, so if there isn't anybody in the channel, it disappears. But now, EH is in the channel all the time, (unless he gets kicked, in which case there is somebody else there,) so, I believe it would be a wise idea to move the channel to efnet, this way our users could be in #distributed much easier, and keep up with d.net news.
There are other reasons, but I am too peaved to list them here, anybody support this idea.
thanks for you time,

edit: I guess I should add this, no one person controls the fate of a channel on efnet, unless they are the only op, something that probably wouldn't be true in #ta.
