IRC stats problem and my apology to ViRGE

Sorry we fscked up in IRC today, hell it was fscked up yesterday and before. You want to get all prissy about it, fine, I don't care. You change your nick just like everyone else at one point or another. On certain instances me and Sys became joined in IRC. On a later instance mech, and Bk linked. What happened today, (I have the log as well as chris) is that some members (myself included) started changing nicks to everyone. I myself did not join in till later. I was already quite angry at seeing I was assimilated into BK when I went online today so I already knew the stats were beyond screwed up. Sorry it was quite imature. Threatening that you want YOUR stats back or YOU will close the TA IRC channel is equally imature. And blaming anyone other than the members that did the act today (not chris) is wrong. We were at fault not him.

Solutions I see at this point is:
1) Kick ban me and the members who fscked up today, hell I could use the time off to contimplate more important issues regarding TWTA.

2) remove the IRC stats

3) restart IRC stats and warn anyone who manipulates them through nick changes can be kick banned.

4) close #TA and lets all go to #rc5

I'm afraid I was a member of this problem. I had forgotten about the stats, when myself and a few other people where jumping nicks. It was like what we have done before (before stats). I then found out that myself and others had then screwed up the stats. I'm sorry for doing this. I had no idea it was going to do that. Later on, when I found out why the stats went screwy, I exercised poor judgement and figured they would be reset to Zero. If anyone is offended by this, I'm sorry. I guess the other thing, is that I'm disappointed to see that this post even exists. At first it was a mistake and then bad judgement. I already said I was sorry to ViRGE in the channel.

The real one I should say I'm sorry to is, EH!! It looks like he might try to fix the log, and for me screwing it up, I'm sorry. If there is anything I can do to help, just holler.

No problems here...no need for this thread actually
i just took a good 45minutes and seperated the nicks, took a while to find it in the 5mb file but done.

There are some parts i need to fix, a few people are short on lines but that will be taken care of later.

But the nicks were seperated.

time to stare at inanimate objects for a while, my mind needs to be focused for the mind is an incouragble couragefilled thing.

Hmm, well, I never cared about people using my nick before, and the stats don't mean very much to me (although it IS fun to see some of these random quotes! ). No offense taken, myself, if anyone uses my nick and gets a bunch of IRC lines (and quotes) added to their stats... but I'll make sure not to complicate things for [eh], or "steal" anyone else's lines.

Hey ViRGE, it wasn't all PF's fault. My thought is that you acted a little unfair by saying you were going to close the channel. That was just a mistake of power on your part. I don't want you to not be an OP, I just think that you should not threaten to close anything that belongs to the team. The stats are for fun, and are a donation to the team by EH.
