IRC Problem

Hey, i trying to connect to IRC, and it tells me i am G-Linked. IT worked fine with dial-up, we switched to cable and now it is not connecting. PLS Help me. Someone told me to try proxy or something, but i dont know how.

yes but why?? my friend next door has the same ISP, and she connects just fine.

Ahh.. any solutions? I tried 2 Bulgarian servers to connect to. Both say G-Lined.

Some friends told me to use a different proxy but i dont know how. ANd again, how do i open/foreward my port 113 on router?

i don't think it has anything to do with port 113. but if you're still looking to find out, you can go into your router configuration (http://your.router.ip.address) and make sure that port 113 is forwarded through that specific machine which is designated by your local IP address.

if you don't have a router and connect directly to your DSL modem, you're banned, unfortunately. you can try to reconnect to the server using dialup and possibly talk to an IRC admin about the problem to see if they'll remove the ban, but there's not much else that can be done.
