IRC > BT

I've been downloading a file on BT for 2 weeks now and it's never completed. It got to 97% and it's been dl'ing for over 2 weeks now with almost no progress. (yes, I'm sure the file isn't actually complete).

I just downloaded the same file with IRC (that I had to learn how to use btw) in under 8 hours!

IRC > BT > ... > sliced bread

Wow.. talk about learning things backwards, IRC is out d00d, if you can't handle torrents use newsgroups.. I stopped using IRC when I lost my last baby tooth.

Not to mention, Newsgroups trumps BT and IRC any day.

You do realize there are search engines for IRC, correct?

But there's also people who require you to share, upload for credits, wait in line on xdcc, wait for open spots if there's a limit, it's too much BS to deal with when all you really could do is get the torrent that has a lot of seeds. If there arn't many then IRC might be better but even then I would choose a newsgroup.
