Ran across this video of an Iraqi insurgent with an RPG attempting to engage, I am guessing, US forces...
Graphic video...

Thanks Gobadgrs!

Not sure if this is appropriate, but my mood is rather dark over the death of Paul Johnson... I apologize if anyone is offended by posting this here

Be much funnier if he didn't have an RPG but instead was just shouting out 'lightning bolt! lightning bolt!'. Heh.

And when the rest came out to look, the US forces should have picked them all off.

WOOHOO!

I don't think it was US forces who shot him, because of the distinctive sound of the weapon being fired.

That sound is incoming rounds, and rounds ricocheting off the pavement...

Also notice the red tracer... if it had been Iraqi police firing AK's, the tracers would usually be green if they used tracers at all..

Nope! You're wrong. He actually takes a shot to the head just a fraction of a second prior to this shot through the chest. Besides, it can't be certain the shot through the chest was throught his heart. Only if you knew it was precisely through the heart could you determine it was the fatal shot. However, you can guarantee the head shot was the killer for him, because you can see a huge chunk of flesh rip off from the side of his head. It also looked like a shot broke his left arm shortly before he collapsed. Personally, I think he was on queer street after taking that first ricochet bullet that hit him in the lower back, which caused him to spin around on his drop his weapon.

The insurgent probably assumed the threat was well forward of his location, thus he proceeded out into the middle of the street to get a clear shot. Noone is saying these guys are smart.

Good. One fewer useless piece of Islamic filth around to threaten the lives of our soldiers. Good shooting on the part of the soldier who got him. :D
