Trump has his head so far up his ass in regards to actual world affairs outside of running his golf course's and hotels it is blantantley pathetic.

Seems he has already ordered a Seal Team 6 strike that failed badly, they lost an Osprey just landing the thing, I always said they were overpriced junk.

And they even managed to shoot an 8 year old US citizen in the head, for all you ranting about Obama killing a US citizen in a drone strike.

Trump really screwed up his first authorized covert op Hugely.

He'll only screw things up on the biggest scale.

It's a thread on the far ranging effects of one of the most widespread actions which has done incredible harm. It's like racism. We could have one megathread about it and all complaints go there I suppose. More or less like organizing a computer desktop.

It's pretty widely covered. Fun part is the planning etc... was all done under Obama. Trump just signed off on it.

"Almost everything went wrong," the official said.

An MV-22 Osprey experienced a hard landing near the site, injuring several SEALs, one severely. The tilt-rotor aircraft had to be destroyed. A SEAL was killed during the firefight on the ground, as were some noncombatants, including females."

No question Trump approved it. I had heard the planning phase was directed by the Obama admin. Moot point anyway since he approved it I agree.

Trump approved but the mission turned to shit. The girl got killed but SEALS aren't going to head out to shoot noncombatant girls in the head, die while trying and wreck an Osprey. That's "Obama is a secret Muslim" territory.

Fog of war and all that. It happens. In hindsight it sucks when it happens. It's not Trumps fault as some seem to want to imply. I do find it different than the targeting al-Awlaki the senior too.

Agreed. OTOH, it's all off topic.

I suppose Trumpsters have to go there when it turns out that the Supreme Leader's ham handed Muslim ban prevents even our friends from coming here. The Iraqi govt has to be scratching their heads, that's for sure.
 
As long as Jared Kushner, Steve Bannon and others tell puppet Trump what to do, these sorts of things will happen.

Remember, Trump has a 31 year old hardline Jewish advisor, a 36 year old son in law as top advisor and white nationalist Steve Bannon as top advisor.

He has guys like Jeff Sessions and Tillerson in power too.

So basically unless your a person of the right genes with the right background, you might not be so welcomed.
