No, I don't think focusing only on Bush's policy is relevant whatsoever considering his policy wasn't any kind of significant shift from previous admins. About the only thing bringing up Bush alone demonstrates is your myopic focus on Bush as the core of our problems with Iran, which is a clear sign of that "dumbass BDS thing." As far as Clinton, I'm not slamming his policy either. I'm pointing out that it was really no different than Bush and, like Bush, he did what he felt was right regarding Iran.

You should know well why nothing will change in regard to Iran's willingness to engage the us in any meaningful diplomacy. It's because it's the same religious conservatives pulling the strings regardless of who their president is, or ours. However, if we have to go through the motions to prove it to the fools who can't seem to comprehend the futility of it all, fine. Let's do it so they'll finally shut the fuck up. It's worth it for that, if nothing else.

If you don't think that Bush's foreign policy vis a vis Iran was more belligerent than his predecessors, you are simply wrong. All US administrations have attempted to isolate Iran since 1979, Bush's approach to the concept was by far more severe than Clinton (corrected). If you want to try and cry the same old retarded BDS crap when someone compares the new president's foreign policy to the previous one's, that's fine by me. You scream bias against Bush any time someone so much as mentions his name, and you're little more than the boy who cried wolf at this point on it.

About the substance: You're now just making up things you wish I said so you have something good to argue against. I never said Bush was the core of our problems with Iran. As far as if they did what they thought was right, who gives a shit? Their policy was bad. I also think that your idea that diplomacy can't work belies a serious misunderstanding of Iran's goals. It's every bit as shockingly naive as the people you constantly condemn.

Anyways, it seems like we fundamentally agree that diplomacy with Iran is a good thing, so I don't even know what all the dick wagging is about other than some sort of residual antipathy you have towards me. Meh, I'm not really interested.

Again you focus on Bush and disregard just about anything I said about Iran, which just happens to be the topic of this thread.

Maybe that should tell you something right there? If it doesn't then you may never comprehend that it's not about dick wagging.

1. Admejnafuck is on his way out
2. He has NEVER had any power
3. The ONLY way to ensure that Iran doesn't take over Iraq after the US leave is to talk to them and come to an "understanding", the invitation will come from the Pres but the talks will be with the ones in charge, the guardian council.
4. Politicians posturing is expected in these countries.
5. Shut the FUCK up.

Pretty typical for a liberal. American's who disagree with you should STFU, but Iran should be given the right to speak. You sir, are an idiot.

I thought after our last "talk" we had come to an understanding.

Apparently not.

Just between me and you, are you "FearNoEvil"? I mean you have the exact same tactics, you are both ball lickers of Cheney, both do one liners and both hate Obama and "liberals" with a vengence for no good reason.

Maybe you should start a club, you could have the club house in your head?

Ill say this once more, since so many seem have problems understading the issue.

#1. Even if you "know" the end result of the diplomatic efforts, YOU STILL NEED TO TRY. This leads to point #2.

#2. The actual and possible end results of the diplomatic discussions isnt the reason why you absolutely need to try. Its more about gathering support & lobbying, how you are perceived (aggressor/victim), showing that eventhought they are being the aggressor you are giving them a chance and so on.

I don't think I've ever made a post about Cheney? Not sure what you mean by that.. maybe it was a mistype.. I know its tough to type when you are frothing all over your keyboard. I don't have a 'hatred' of Obama. I think his policies are wrong and he ran on a platform of lies which are clearly becoming visible now.

I enjoy the one-liners because most of them are exactly whats been posted in this forum for the past 8 years. Its quite revealing that they seem to piss you off so much when its the same tactics used by people who agreed with you when Bush was in power.

You seriously need to get the sand out of your vag. My point stands, you appear to be for the right of Iran to speak more so than you are of people who disagree with you. Pretty pathetic if you asked me. Maybe if I were to threaten the jews with nuclear war you would respect me more?
