I'm sure they have no issues agreeing to that once israel agrees to reciprocal inspections at Dimona etc...until then i believe they will get told to pound sand?

Mach 14 sounds like intermediate range ballistic missiles. They wouldn’t be great at hitting moving targets like tankers but would be difficult to stop when targeting fixed strategic targets.
by tankers i meant the kc-130's etc that are leaving Saudi Arabia, not much time to move those things if you have no early warning now

I was told by the US government that the UN is useless, it sucks and it should be defunded, the disbanded.

So my expectation is that lulz will be a term dusted off and tossed around again after many years in retirement in regards to requests from the IAEA request.

Presumably a factor in why they decided to bomb them. The current US government has no faith in international organizations.

In any case, I do think nuclear proliferation is detrimental in the middle east. But some of it is too far gone to be reversed like Pakistan.

are the french just going in there to create artificial reefs? i saw a video with John Mearsheimer basically pissing himself laughing at the prospect of their aircraft carrier entering the straights of hormuz, like wtf, if the American super carriers can't do shit, you think your 26 rafaeles are going to make a difference

Trump is going to nuke Iran and in the process will normalize the use of nuclear weapons across the world. This will spawn decades of mass destruction by normalizing nuclear war.

The Charles de Gaul is heading to the Eastern med near Cyprus I thought.

I think they are moving to Cyprus in the eastern med.

that makes a lot more sense, about to establish a no fly zone over Lebanon? (wishful thinking i know, israel is allowed to attack with impunity)

what happens when the US technological overmatch is no longer relevant?

If Iranian salvos can challenge American power, the PLA Rocket Force, with thousands of ballistic missiles and an industrial base that dwarfs Iran's by orders of magnitude, represents a problem that no existing or plausibly funded system can solve. Lockheed Martin does not profit from an assessment that you cannot reliably intercept a sufficiently large salvo of manoeuvring warheads. It profits from the promise that next year's interceptor, or laser, or some other technology, will crack the problem if Congress writes the cheque.

Probably to intercept any drones or missiles being launched from Lebanon rather than anything more hands on!
