As of now the best out I see is the market crash causes the admin to back down as it has before.

Israel losing direct American backing and being bloodied more than they thought also back down.

Not sure what the odds are on that however.

I think it will take more pain but yeah. Problem is the supply chain is still going to be kinda fucked for a while so fuel prices might take months to decline.

Watching the admin figure out in real time that Israeli aims are at odds with whatever ones we have is as predictable as it is stupid. They flipped out on Bibi after the IAF turned day into night in Tehran by setting all the fuel depots on fire.

Also, admin claims they wanted regime change, but destroyed all the tools to do that by undercutting the Iranian moderates by tearing up the nuke deal, closed the US farsi language news, understaffed Middle East diplomatic offices, and destroyed big arms of our soft power.

The admin isn't figuring out shit
They're just headless chickens. Cheep cheep cheep.

well the guy is israeli intelligence officer, so everything he 'reports' is already written down for him by propaganda men

Every once in a while the Israelis do actually get sideways with the WH/Trump. Like the assassinations in Doha last year when Trump literally made, from the Oval Office on camera, Bibi call the emir of Qatar and apologize and promise it would not happen again.

maybe putting a drunk tv host in charge of the military wasn't a smart move

Pape grilling the American response

-Whether this conflict is merely a contained episode or it becomes a prolonged strategic setback for the United States will depend not on the next volley of missiles but on whether Washington recognizes the enemy’s unfolding strategy—and responds with one of equal clarity.

yeah, but then we forget about it 30 seconds later because their our favorites, it's like that spoiled kid that always get's away with everything and is only mildly scolded by his parents

I don't see Iran backing out as they know if they do in six months the bombings will come again once enough forces are built up.

We were told eight months ago the entire reason for this war was obliterated. And yet here we are. Operation AIPAC Fury is only going to end when it becomes too painful to sustain.

The Gulf nations are going to tap out first. Either apply pressure (threaten US investments and basing) in DC to back off or cut side deals that we're not going to like.

US can't back out at this point, the ME will descend into anarchy. I honestly think Israel will just get eaten alive by the hornet's nest they kicked.

We're in this for a while.

I'll just go ahead and requote this
So here's the thing, it's probably accurate. The drum beat of 'weeks away from a nuclear weapon' is literally accurate for any nation that has the ability to enrich uranium, including for peaceful purposes. Which naturally means they had no intent on building a bomb, that was just gaslighting to authorize an invasion.

Where the foxnews clowns at. I have most of them.on ignore but are they all quiet?
Waiting for the next round of trans articles or something?
They need their propaganda fix to first tell them how collapsing the Middle East is actually a good thing. How affordability is a Democrat hoax and nobody needed to afford anything anyway.

Because Bible and stuff.
"God is a real estate agent" or whatever the saying goes so it doesnt matter what happens.

They'll just quote some old middle eastern religous text and ramble on about evil or some nonsense.
