Yes, they gave us a stern finger-wagging and a really angry glare.Wait a sec? I thought Iran threatened some kind of action if a carrier went through?
Yes, they gave us a stern finger-wagging and a really angry glare.
Pretty much as expected.
If I'm not mistaken, they only threaten action if the Stennis returned not if new carriers came. :whiste:
*Iranian scientists have produced the nation's first nuclear fuel rod, a feat of engineering the West has doubted Tehran capable of, the country's nuclear agency said Sunday.*
*(Reuters) - - Iran announced a nuclear fuel breakthrough and test-fired a new radar-evading medium-range missile in the Gulf on Sunday, moves that could further antagonize the West at a time when Tehran is trying to avert harsh new sanctions on its oil industry.*
If one wants to think so but who would be the principle participants? Iran against the western world? If having many nations engage in a war qualifies as a World War then I submit the damage would be extraordinarily one sided. Certainly there would be complications and some potentially severe, but that will always be the case as long as we rely on oil as derived in it's current form. That can only mean one thing, WWIII.
That can only mean one thing, WWIII.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------They'd better watch themselves; we invaded Iraq for less.
Just Call Iran's Bluff. The retalliation for attacking one of our carriers should be an endless bombing run on their civilian population, shortly after destroying every ship in their harbor and bowing up their pipelines and their oil loading platforms, their navy, their air force and all their ant-aircraft and radar installations, and all their Electric plants and water purification plants, and their refinery and all the pipelines in and out of their country.
So Bring it on????
Send a few cruise missle cruisers also.
