A lot of people seem to fail that class.

well we are taught these subjects at higher depths like we are just made to practise problems which are very very difficult
imagine being taught only maths for 7 hours a day
think about the grip we will have
and we were taught these foriegn languages and world history and everything to the same depth till our 10th standard(well i havent learnt anything though)

Well, if this is going to be a ganesh1 beat down thread, I might as well continue being a douche bag. Your Spanish verbs need to be conjugated correctly. It should be,

Yo hablo un poco espanol.
Me encanta las canciones de Daddy Yankee.

My Spanish admittedly is pretty poor, though, so my corrections might have mistakes, too.

Anyway, you probably are, indeed, pretty intelligent. However, instead of being defensive, you could probably take a lesson from this thread: in the real world, you are judged by your grammar, so it would be worth your time to invest in improving it.

and these papers are kinda easy just because people dont understand everything they are taught
at the age of 17 my father was taught what was spline interpolation

and what is double integration in maths
and iam gonna learn it at the age of 18 :(
and 50% of the things ur taught are unnecassary but we were taught equivalent amount of shit (we dont need foriegn languages as in india itself there are 30 languages)
every indian is atleast taught two indic languages

Well doing said paper at 17 is pretty impressive, but it's not genius level stuff, either. You're definitely intelligent if you can do it, but it doesn't give you the right to laugh at us dumb Americans as you seem to be implying. When I was 17, you're right, no I could not do that, but I also didn't take only science and math for 7 hours a day. Now, only two years older, after two years of science and math classes, I can do most of it, too.

So, to put it to rest, yes, you're smart, probably smarter than I am, okay, happy? However, you still have a lot to learn as do all of us. Indian schools do have quite a reputation but stop acting like this is stuff that only Indian students are capable of doing.

ganesh1, the problem sets that you linked to really are not very difficult. American students in good high schools can do those problems at 17-18 years old. We are not criticizing your accomplishments; we are criticizing your grammar because you are being overly defensive about it.

Y tu espanol no es el mejor. La traduccion que escribio blinky8225 es correcta - la tuya tenia muchos errores.

I am the smartest man in the world according to online IQ tests. I am the god-king of Earth, destined to defeat the Sauron Hordes at the battle of Crab Nebula. This is all true.

India or China may one day be above us(as the world's number one superpower), but only because of their corrupt systems and over-population to fuel large armies. It would only make sense for the Indian government to be making so many mathematics and scientists to fuel their need for stronger weapons for warfare.(i.e. the next super-bomb) I still think Americans>Indians in speaking English. :D

It's Indian... :-/

It isn't unpopular for all the non-failures of India to come to America... The only reason there are so many engineers that are Indian and in America is because there are so many fucking Indians! There are BILLIONS. India has almost four times the population of the United States... Combine that with an education system based around math and science, then yes, you will have a shit-load of people coming to America to get higher education.
