I got 90 just hitting the buttons. I don't like tests where it's just a bunch of shape problems.

I doubt it's super-accurate; no test is going to be with 39 questions. However, I do think that it's far from innaccurate. Despite how idiotic some of the people who post in here seem, I think that this place attracts far more people from above average than from below average in terms of intelligence.

The only problem is that everyone posting 130+ IQs would fall in the highest 1-2% of population.

Sure, I'm willing to assume that the average AT member is smarter than average but not by that magnitude. 130+ is near genius.

IQ Comparison Site is a much better gauge of someone's IQ as it is a power test and does not require any education to complete but it costs $6 to get the results.

Potentially, sure.

I'm just saying I don't think the average IQ of all members is 130+. I'm sure most taking this test are fairly certain of what the result will be. I doubt someone taking the test and getting 105, for example, will post their results.

According to this study the median IQ of male doctors sits just north of 120.

This test was all about noticing patterns / relationships, which is related to the kinds of skills these degrees require. There are a lot of different intelligence test types, but I would expect that this kind of pattern / relationship recognition test would be right up this forum's alley.

I wouldn't go as far as call a lot of people here geniuses, but it doesn't surprise me that so many people here would score well on this particular test.
