IPX/SPX TCP/IP NETBEUI

can someone please explain these too me. i know kinda what they are : ipx/spx for network, tcp/ip for outside, not sure bout netbeui and netbios and that stuff

can you tell me what they stand for and how they are used

NetBEUI is what you should be using for your internal network. Feel free to nuke IPX/SPX. It's some kind of ancient Netware protocol that just seems to keep hanging around.

Agreed. The problem is that too many would forget to unbind it from file and print sharing or password protect their shares. At least if they're using NetBEUI, we might slightly reduce that possibility.
