is there a mirror download site for the NYC maps?

I know there was a thread on treocentral.com for NYC maps made for treos... does it need to be a specific size ?

From other sites, it says that the iPod photo supports up to 220x176, so preferably that size. I'm kind of curious to see how legible the actual map is - I may just end up cutting up the MTA pdf myself and putting it on my ipod.

I think I found the post you were talking about, but the map files were taken off from the person's server. Thanks though.

many people don't see the point of a pda though. esp with phones getting more and more features you dont need a pda for contacts.

I put it back up from my copy...

With a PDA browser, you can size it... so that was made with a larger resolution and we can view it at 100% with scroll ability. I'm not so sure you can do that with an Ipod.
