i was going to get a shuffle, had my name on the waiting list, but then they dropped the price and upped the battery on the mini. so i have a blue 2G 4GB mini 🙂

I got a blue one, havn't seen it yet, but they have pictures at apple.com

i think it is a tad darker
 
Is it so good to justify paying greater than retail pricing for?

Thats how they seem to be ended on eBay so I just put up the one I got from freeipod(s).com
 
Nothing wrong with them except price. My 30 GB Creative Nomad Zen Xtra was $230 even with a 2-year warranty extension, vs. $360 for a 20 GB iPod with AppleCare.
 
I just got the new 30 GB iPod Photo, and I like it so far! The bastards didn't include the AV cable, though, so I had to go to the Apple Store and purchase that separately to use the TV slide show feature.
