since dell's latest coupon expired on the 29th, anyone know another good place to get one of the 15gigs cheap?

Same here. You will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

I love my 1st-gen 10-GB model. I think ergonomically, the original iPod's controls are superior to the new one, but I admit I would really like to be able to create and edit playlists on the fly. I think the original design has better battery life as well, because the battery is larger. There are kits available to replace it now, as well.

If you're a student, you can get a discounted one through Apple's online store. Currently I think the best deals on them are at Dell, using coupons and other discounts. But their stock status is sketchy, some people are stating that they are getting emails saying theirs wont ship till September, and others are getting them within days.

I want a 15gig one too. I dont think I even have 15 gigs of MP3s though, at least not yet. I'm busy reripping my entire cd collection.

I've got a third gen iPod and I've got my car wired so I can plug it into the stereo 🙂

It's also handy as a portable hard drive.
